Why should I register with Supply and Demand?

We are a local, well established company and are the preferred agency of many primary schools in the area. If you have relocated, need part time work or are returning to the teaching profession, then we are the perfect choice.

Due to increased business year on year, we are constantly recruiting supply teachers of a high calibre for long and short term assignments. We value and support our staff, and in recognition of the work they do, offer an attractive daily rate and a number of staff benefits and incentives.

We recognise that our continuing success is built upon the high quality of our supply teachers.

What areas do you cover?

We cover schools in and around Poole and Bournemouth. We also provide support cover and services to a number of schools within other areas of Dorset.

Are you open in the holidays?

Yes. We know that for many people the school holidays are a good time to start the registration process, so we are available all year and are happy to see you by appointment. We are, however, closed on bank holidays and also over Christmas and New Year.

Can I register with more than one agency?

Yes. There is no limit to the amount of agencies you are welcome to register with.

How quickly will I be working?

Some teachers have been assigned work within a couple of weeks but starting times will depend on a range of factors. We will discuss this with you further in person once an interview has been arranged.

How do I know that the work you offer me is going to be suitable?

We take time to get to know you, ascertaining your strengths and aspirations, so that when we make promises of work they will be relevant to your experience.

As ex-teachers with over thirty years of direct classroom experience, we understand the challenges presented to supply teachers so can relate to you on a professional level.

What kind of work can I expect?

We are constantly receiving requests for teachers to cover PPA, long, short and daily assignments.

We listen carefully to your needs, and endeavour to match you to a school where you will be given the chance to shine. Whether you want a long term assignment or the flexibility to work on a daily basis, we will accommodate your requirements.

Can I specify which days of the week I work?

Yes. A number of our supply teachers work part-time. Many teachers require work that fits around family commitments or new ventures.
